It’s almost the end of September, which means one thing in our highly Disney employee populated community; the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot is upon us!
If you are wondering what I’m talking about, let me explain; starting September 28 through November 12, the Epcot Center at Walt Disney World hosts an event located in their World Showcase (which is a part of Epcot that has pavilions representing 11 countries which circle around a man-made lake) called the Food and Wine Festival. Imagine a scene where you can stroll from Norway to Canada in a few feet, sampling over 30 different Marketplaces with foods and beverages from all over the world, without even needing a passport! There are also beverage seminars, culinary demonstrations, mixology seminars and authentic taste seminars you can participate in located in the different countries. To see a list of all events and to book the event of your choice you can click here.
On select nights, the America Gardens Theatre hosts the “Eat to the Beat” concert series, where you can enjoy a diverse lineup of a wide range of musical acts. A few of the acts coming to Epcot this year are Boyz II Men, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Hanson, The Pointer Sisters, Sister Hazel and Blues Traveler (to see the full line up click here).
Usually, the weather here in Florida is starting to cool down during the months of this fabulous outdoor experience, and it is a great way to spend a day with a loved one, family or a group of friends. To find out more about the Food and Wine Festival, plan a trip to Orlando! (Or visit this website) Happy Wining and Dining!
