Project: Everyone Deserves to Ride!
So recently, I rediscovered my love for riding bikes. My wife, kids and I will ride our bikes throughout all of the neighborhoods nearby for a fun little adventure through Henderson and Las Vegas. None of us ever knew exactly where we were going or where we would end up. Sometimes my wife and I will take some of the paved trails that are hiding throughout the cities. It has become a great way to blow off steam, as well as get some good exercise in lieu of going to the gym or working out at home. This got me thinking: I am very lucky to be able to do this with my family, or even by myself whenever I want. Not everyone is able to ride bikes whenever they want to because; let us face it; bikes are expensive at times. Even the cheap ones are still pricey for someone somewhere. I thought, then, that maybe I should figure out a way to get bicycles in the hands of everyone who wants to ride. Whether it is for recreation or pure necessity, everyone should have a bike.
